Berlin - a city in constant change, movement. Underground and suburban trains, buses, ships, trains, bikes, planes, cars and pedestrians move next to, over, under and with each other.
They do this in tunnels, in the air, over tracks, streets, rivers, paths and footbridges, as if in a specially choreographed dance. It is the pulse of Berlin that captivates the viewer. In her film, the artist Natascha Küderli composes a coexistence of these levels of movement. In doing so, she shows not only the seemingly perpetual hustle and bustle, but also the quiet moments, such as the people on the runways of the disused Tempelhof Airport.
The film vibrates with the rhythm of the big city.
Since the legendary silent film classic "Berlin. The Symphony of the Big City", the bubbling action on Berlin's rails, streets and waters has not been shown as fascinatingly as it is here!
