Natascha Küderli is one of 100 international photo artists selected for Rotterdam Photo 2022. The event celebrates the spectrum of contemporary photography in all its diversity and attracts around 10,000 visitors each year, including art lovers, collectors, gallery owners and international art press professionals from various countries.
Due to cancellations by COVID-19, the festival is presenting two themes simultaneously for the first time: PLANET HUMAN X THE HUMAN BLUEPRINT.
The exhibition focused on the following questions: Who are we as human beings, apart from the fact that we exist? How do we express ourselves? What role do our imperfections, the dark sides of our collective existence play? What does humanity leave behind on earth?
In response to these questions, Natascha Küderli showed works from the thematic fields of nature and urbanity. Her urban collages were exhibited opposite her nature collages and in this way created a kaleidoscope of the two spaces: on the one side nature, with its tranquility, beauty and vastness, on the other side the urban with its movement, structure and rich abundance of architecture.
